I asked this one a week ago, origanally looking at the AB9 but also other models
The answer is, Yes both the ip35 and ip35-e are compattable.

Although I'm still trying to get hold of a 7950gx2 for a reasonable price

Scan had it for a bargain recently but then it went, must have sold their remaining stock, it did look an absolute bargain as well

it was a week back and sold out in about 12hours

I doo hope they were not bought buy someone to ebay them as they go for about £150 on ebay atm
