Abit NF-M2N sound and cpu speed

Ok, I have two issues with the M2N:

    1. Sound, when scrolling up and down, or moving the mouse input, for some reason there is a noise from the speakers. It sounds like rapid clicking, you know like a hard drive? I don't understand it really.

    2. CPU fan, using the stock AM2 cooler, what I don't understand is how can I get the fan speed to actually be variable? It's got cpu fan enabled in bios, it's idling at 37*C and has a target temp of 55*C, and yet still it's running at 3200 RPM!

does your stock fan have 3 or 4-pin plug (they've had both )?

Checked today, it's 3-pin. Does this mean I'm out of luck unless I invest in an aftermarket cooler?

Disable the fan monitoring/low rpm warning on the CPUFAN header & move the fan connector to the Sys & control that.
