Just bought an IP-35E, but where does the CD drive hookin?

Just got myself a new Abit motherboard to do an upgrade, but when i started looking, it only has one connector for hard drives and one for floppy drives...but the drivers are on a CD...Where does the CD drive hook into the motherboard!? This is making me very confused...why support floppy drives and no CD, but have the drivers for the motherboard on CD? If anyone can answer, please help me!

    thank you

It has 1 IDE/PATA connector which supports 2 devices & 4 SATA connectors (plus a floppy connector).
Most HDDs these days are SATA, in fact they are starting to discontinue making PATA HDDs.
Similarly SATA ODDs are starting to replace PATA ODDs.

It's the black socket lying on it's side (on the bottom of this photo).

Most people connect their hard drives using SATA. Your optical drives can then go onto the IDE connector. If you only have an IDE HDD and Optical Drive then you need to connect both to the IDE channel - use a cable with two connectors and set the HDD as primary, the optial drive as secondary.

Or if you use 2 IDE hard drives on the single IDE connector on the motherboard, I'd sugest buying a SATA DVDrw drive as they can be bought for under £20
