    Question question about p35-e bios update

    do i really need a floppy disk drive and a floppy disk to update the bios??

    we r in the 21st century arent we??

    no, you can also do it from an usb memory stick, CD or FlashMenu.

    how do you do that in windows when F6 looks for a floppy?

    Because pressing F6 to include storage drivers in your Windows install has nothing to do with the BIOS.

    Instead, go into the BIOS and from there you can select the boot device you want to use to flash the BIOS.

    plus the F6 problem is no longer a problem in Vista, u can use a USB drive, if ur still using XP then perhaps u should still be using a floppy drive
