    [ask] phenom 9600 w/ abit ax78

    hoii bro...
    i have ax78 w/ phenom 9600, i wont overclock this phenom. does anyone can help me to find the best configuration for this proc??

    oya, my another rig is :
    Team Elite 2x1gb PC6400
    TAGAN 600w U25
    WDC 160GB SATA....
    Noctua NH-U12P

    now iam running 2.64Ghz and the temp is 55-58c....

    not sure what you mean?
    If you don't want to overclock just run it at it's stock settings.
    If you mean that you can't overclock it then from all that I've read Phenoms don't overclock well at all, often only a couple hundred MHz.

    I don't (yet) have a Phenom but as I said from what I've read they generally aren't great overclockers plus there is the TLB errata at higher speeds.
    Also, again from what I read if you are using Vista 64 it seems to limit Phenom overclocking.

    i agree with u bro....ithink phenom still have problem with TLB errata.....
