    Problems with onboard sound?

I got my board a few days ago, has been working fine until recently but today when I started up and played soem music, i got some weird popping noises coming through my speakers with the music.
I think it might have something to do with Vista SP1, because when I started up today, I got a 'Installing upgrades, 66%' then it completed.
SP1 is the only upgrade I've had on vista so far.
    Any help?

    Thanks.

Have you tried the latest soundcard drivers for this board for vista?

    Re: Problems with onboard sound?

    Which board is it?

You may want to try a manual Windows Update. Also, I assume you've plugged the speakers into the right socket on the back panel and have selected the correct sound mode in the software?
