    fatality FP-IN9

After a few teething problems with this motherboard and fitting a new bios chip supplied by ABIT technical support (bios version 16) a new problem has appeared.

The PC starts to boot but before it posts it shuts down. This may happen a few times till eventually it boots up.

Any ideas please ?........system specs on the left

    Re: fatality FP-IN9

It can be a problem with the power supply. Can you give it a go with another one for testing?

Also go into the BIOS, load the optimized defaults, change your personal settings and save and exit the BIOS.

Eventually you might need to check the RPM of your CPU fan. Is the RPM high enough? Is the CPU fan connected to the CPUFAN1 header?
