Abit IP43 and IP45 - what ACPI version? Vista support?

What ACPI version will the IP4x boards support? ASUS P4x boards are ACPI 3.0a while Gigabyte boards are only 1.0b, so what version will IP4x support?

I'm not sure what ACPI does or if the ACPI version even matters, but I read [ here ] that Windows Vista requires ACPI. Still not sure what difference 2.0 and 3.0 makes or if it even matters. I have my eyes on the Abit IP43 Pro board, but I'd like to know what I'm buying and would definitely like Vista support (for DX10+).

What version does IP35 support btw?

edit: And will the Abit IP4x boards arrive to distributors on 2008-08-15? Because I've heard this date, but I'm not sure whether it's true?

    Thanks!

In the BIOS you can select ACPI 1.0, 2.0 or 3.0
