    IN9-32X Max Annoyance

    Hi there,
I recently took my computer apart to properly clean it (especially the CPU Cooler) and I took out my CPU while I was doing so (to better clean of the old thermal paste) which now turns out to have been a mistake. After starting up the usual POST messages come up and then I'm told that my CPU has changed and I need to re-enter the CPU data and not to forget to save afterwards. Problem is though, that my CPU hasn't changed and everything about it gets automatically recognized correctly by the board. Should I try to overclock a little just to have changed something?
When I just press F1 after the above message popped up the computer boots up normally but it's obviously annoying to get that message everytime I start up.

PS: This is about an annoyance with the 'IN9-32X Max', not a maximum annoyance with the IN9-32X of course.

that "CPU has changed etc." message is normal given the circumstances.
Next time go into the bIOS, select optimised defaults save & exit.
Hopefully the next time it then won't reappear.

Ah, excellent. Thanks for the quick reply. I assumed the message itself was normal given the circumstances but that its persistence was not. Will loading the optimized defaults reset all other settings I've made? Most importantly, will I have to switch off those annoying lights again?
