Lights ok on MB, but no powerligths and no powerup...

    Hey,

I have an Abit AB9 that has worked fine till today. I installed WIN 7 RC two days ago with great succes but this morning it wouldn't boot - like - NO response from the powerbutton, and no standby light like there usually is. When I open my Antec, the lights on the board are still on, and the code is 0.0. But otherwise it's as if it was dead...

I cannot find that code anywhere, and since I'm writing my bachelorthesis this week, I'm rather desperate for a fix...

    Anyone?

    - Harbo

I had almost exactly the same problem, after checking almost everything I broke out a multimeter, turned out my power supply had lost several voltage lines, so while it's got enough to light up the mobo it won't boot up. Try switching in a different PSU to see if it fixes it.
