    Abit IP35 Pro Graphics Cards

    Hi

Can anyone tell me if this can run dual Graphics cards?

Im sure I can see another PCI Express slot but not 100% Sure

If so, I already have a Geforce 8800GTX, so can I buy any other as a second card or do I have to put another 8800GTX there?

Lastly, how does a 8800GTX comapre these days? Is it still classed as a good card?

    Thanks in Advance

No, its an Intel P35 chipset, that means ATI (AMD) CrossFire only.

Yes, theres 2 slots, and it does support 2 cards at once BUT only if theyre both ATI CrossFire cards.

I do believe you can put in 2 Nvidia cards, but you cant use them in SLI as dual cards.

For example, assuming I understood it correctly, you could put in a 2nd nvidia card for non-graphics use, ie Folding@Home and the likes.
