    Abit aw9d-max new cpu

    Hi, I would like buy quad core cpu fot my ABIT AW9D-MAX
    I have E8500 Now.
    I would like intel qx6850 or qx9xxx
    This cpu working with my motherboard? In cpu list no, but I see on this forum new version bios v18, now I have install v16
    Please help

    Q(X)6xxx should work fine as it is (as they're 65nm CPUs), but Q8xxx/Q9xxx (45nm) need the latest Beta BIOS V18 (or 1.8?).

    You test it?
    Intel qx6850 working in 100%??
    Because I can buy only a cpu on usa ebay
