AV8-3RD EYE and sound issues??

Just exactly which sound port should i be using?

I have a set of Logitech x-530 (5.1) speakers and have tried hooking them to all 5 ports.

I have had sound when using the 6CH speaker setup, and putting my speaker cable into the black port. But sound only comes out of 2 speakers ( the center/sub - apparently) but actually its front left and front right.

Any ideas?

I had a similar prob, I have a Philips 5.1 and AB9 pro mobo.

I switched the connections aorund until they all worked, for some reason the usual colour coded plugs don't match

theres something spooky going on. as the Abit AV Rack sound test thing outputs 4 speakers, yet i dont get sounds in windows/winamp.

more probing me thinks.

dropped a clanger, turns out it was missing 2 jumpers which made it set to 'front panel audio'

im now enjoying music once again.
