Well i hope my replacement is going to be fine but will have to wait and see.
Yeah I'm happy with the one I've got. I bought it when they were first released back in August I think. Wasn't always that happy with it (wouldn't overclock for **** on the early bios releases) but its always been stable for me at least. Its still not the best overclocker (OK its a fair overclock but not near the best in its class shall we say) but it does the job I think.
Mine seems fine, but when I tried installing a SATA II drive (Hitachi Desktar) I ran into problems...
The Hitachi tool (floppy boot) wouldn't see the drive, and once I set it to SATA II on another system, it runs like treacle on either controler. Had to go back to SATA I.
As said, not the best OC (343 FSB making my E6300 @ 2.4GHz), but its not the most expensive board...
Apart from the SATA II issue, most impressed... So much so I sourced an ABit board (NF-95) for another project...
well the issue i had was still not resolved with a replacement board. :ShakingHeadInDisbelief: Its all pointing at getting a replacement now, just not sure what to go for.
I got this after my Asus P5B-Deluxe caught fire... Though these are still slated as being the best mobo for C2D's... Maybe I just got a bad-un...
Mine was fine after a BIOS update. 1.5 is now running without a hitch. I am pleased that Abit managed to get a quick BIOS fix (about 2 months I think) after I got it.
My Asus P5W DH Deluxe was 100% on its first run from boot to post. It actually detects my floppy drive whereas the AB9Pro failed to no matter what drivers i wacked on.
Im glad yours works but from my experiences im keeping clear, however my friend has the new IN9-32X-MAX and ive gotta say thats a lovely board.
