    Question Avivo video converter

I have a HD 4850 card and I'm trying to use Avivo video converter. According to the guide on the ATI website, it should be listed in the basic Catalyst menu, but it's not there, only 'setup my display configuration' appears. I installed using the advanced option and had everything ticked apart from the World of Warcraft demo. Am I missing something, I'd like to be able to use it.
    Thanks

Oh. Fair enough. I believe its still anyway so we should see it released for more platforms soon. I think it can be used for HD 4000 series cards: http://support.ati.com/ics/support/d...estionID=21793 but I do use Vista 64.

    Re: Avivo video converter

watercooled I sorted it out. Lol quick google shows you how to use it. You're using it in advanced mode you need to set the CCC back to basic then u get a prompt which allows you to choose it
    http://ati.amd.com/technology/avivo/technology.html
Also I was being a bit dense realised yeh the package for Vista x64 is the same as on the x32 but it isn't linked on the Vista x64 page. It's all there, just in a weird way.

It's a seperate download from the Catalyst suite, so you need to install it seperately before it appears in CCC.

    Re: Avivo video converter

No, it's not there in the Basic menu either. It should be included in the CCC suite, as far as I know.

    Re: Avivo video converter

As splash said its not in the CCC suite it's a seperate download, and you access it via a prompt menu shown in the link below:

    How to open it:
    http://support.ati.com/ics/support/d...estionID=21793

ATI Catalyst 8.12 Vista x32-x64 AVIVO Converter
    https://a248.e.akamai.net/f/674/9206...code_72277.exe

That's all you should need now.
