Been through a number of these cases in the last few weeks, from what I can tell, each has been delivered faulty.
All have had an LCD that has been so massively backlit that the black senction of the display appears bright "pink". Also none of the LCD's have turned off when the PC is shut down. At even the slightest angle, the entire display turns into a pink square and the display is unreadable.
Initially I figured I'd got a bad case, but all of the subsequent cases have also been identical.
I tried contacting Antec by email but none of the email contact addresses on Antecs site have illicited any response, even the complaints address!!
In the end I had to resort to phoning Holland, who tell me that the display should be a black/dark blue background with white text. There appears to be no explanation as to why the display refuses to shut down when the PC shuts down.
None of the LCD's I've seen bear any resemblance to black/white. They've all been pink squares with cyan text (if viewed from directly infront). All of the review pictures I've seen show the LCD as blue text on darker blue background.
I also have an older Fusion 430 (mATX) version of this case, the LCD on that case (which appears to be indentical in terms of functionality) appears correctly as blue text on dark blue background, is readable from any angle, and correctly turns off when the PC shuts down.
So, I wondered if anyone who owns a Fusion Max can offer a description of their LCD?
This case is perfect for my needs, but a bright pink square eminating from the front of the case makes it entirely unsuitable as a media PC. It's so bright it lights the entire room when the lights are low.
Before I give it up as a bad job, I thought I'd ask for other opinions. Anyone got a Fusion Max with a display that doesn't go pink? Is there an issue with the LCD's on the Fusion Max range of cases?
