    Antec 300 SSD Compatible

On the box it says ssd compatible so I was expecting an ssd slot but I couldn't find one. I had to use a 3.5" adapter. Why is this information on the box?

Doing a search on Google it would seem that there's a mount on the bottom of the case for an SSD. Did you read the manual?

    "Internal 1 x bottom-mounted 2.5" SSD drive bay"

From the antec site itself...tbh Antec usually put this in the base of the chassis for some reason - cost saving it must be as it can't be to absorb vibrations on a drive with no moving parts can it...

it looks like theyve revised it, my 300 hasnt got an SSD mount either. according to the site theres a cut-out for the CPU fan too, and mine definitely hasnt got that

There are ssd mounting holes slot on the floor of the case which are practically unuseable.
