I'm stopped in my build with this problem:
I've got a Gigabyte GTX670 video card that requires power for both 6 pin and 8 pin connectors. My Antec CP-1000 power supply contains two PCI-E power cable with 6 pin + 2 pin separate connectors. The power supply 6 pin connector fits fine in the video card's 6 pin connector (I leave the extra 2 pin connector loose). But the other power cable from the power supply with 6 + 2 pin connector won't work in the video card's 8 pin connector - the 6 pin portion fits, but the extra 2 pin connector won't fits because it has a small tab/key that prevents it from fitting into the video card connector.
What gives? Do I have to cut off the tab/key? That would make it fit, but that doesn't seem right.
Thanks
