My Macbook....
2.0ghz CoreDuo, 120gb HDD, 2gb RAM, White.
It's 15months old, but under warranty until June 2008.
I've got a new 2.4ghz Macbook Pro on its way as I type, so this one will be ready for sale in a few weeks.

With an upgraded HD and 2GB of RAM, you will be able to get up to £800 for yours on eBay, and at least £600, unless you're really unlucky.
I'm sorry, but I beg to differ.
Direct from the Apple website is 699 including delivery, and thats for a Core 2 Duo. Put 2 gigs of ram in it and thats an extra £55, then add a 120GB HDD and thats roughly another £35-40. Thats already sub-£800 with a newer processor.
I would revise my guestimate to something of the order of about £620.
Thats how much I would pay for it anyway.
Cool..
All sounds encouraging...
I was hoping for £400-£500, so it looks like £500 is achievable!
The MBP is somewhere between here and China currently, with an ETA of 13th Sept.
Yep.
The 2.4 (Top End) 15inch model.
Went for the Matte screen tho, not the Glossy.
What you are forgetting is that most people that shop for laptops are not half as technically aware as we are. They will spec up the machine using the Apple online store, where they will get charged £90 for an extra GB of RAM and £40 for the additional HD, bringing the total cost to well over £800. So, if they don't really care about having a 64bit CPU or not, they will think they are saving money.
i would say its worth between 650 and 750...
