ipob problem

o.k the power went from my house, now each time i try to play a song from my ipod it sounds a bit like a badley downloaded mp3,
i can play the mp3 fine from the ipod drive useing winamp (sounds o.k and does not skip), i'v also tryed restoreing the ipod and runing the cheack disk (it says the drive is o.k) still i get this problem.
any idears on this ???
if not i'l send it in for repair

Mine had this, had to send it back as it wouldnt charge anymore either. I would let apple deal with it if you are within your first year, if its in its first 90 days they will collect it for free.
