Fix for Dropped wireless on Macbook

I have read a few places where this seems a common problem since 10.4.10 and continues past 10.5

Basically when using the wireless on battery power the wireless will drop connection and attempt to reconnect every so often and this can be extremely frustrating when viewing webpages and the likes.

Doe anyone know if Apple have released a fix for this yet and is anyone else on here affected by this problem?

I have this problem on my mac book, but only with the Belkin router in my house in belfast, it works fine with my Dlink router at home in ballymena...
