it was a really sweet game where u navigated space (looking a bit like asteroids) and then u bought goods and tried to deliver them without getting killed going from planet to planet

nah, its not elite.
it was like a top down thing. So when u fought it looked a bit like asteroids...
+ i think it might have been a shareware game.
escape velocity ?? escape velocity overide?? escape velocity nova??
yeah, its defo one of them cheers.
now to find out if itll run on OS X
wicked ive just been played escape velocity nova for the past 3 hrs
forgot how cool it was
i use to play escape velocity all the time too when i had a mac.. but then was sad to learn that it was not available for pc.. but with the new port.. lots of raiding going on once again.
only thing is the actual fighting is not as easy as i remember, think a bit of keyboard remapping might be in order.
