daverobev...the power mac/book's don't come with Appleworks or any other fluff apps as they are considered a professional series computer but iBooks/iMac/eMacs are considered consumer products and do have the extra apps like Appleworks and such...now the new machines do come with Office test drive which gives you access to the office suite for 30 days then you have to buy it
