I'm seriously contemplating buying a Mac of some sort (maybe a Mac Mini or iMac). For those of you who have moved from Windows to the Apple world, do you miss Windows and are you more productive using Apple operating systems?

I used Macs a lot at previous workplaces, and TBH I tend to prefer Windows more although OS X for a long time was shinier. Also, regarding productivity I would say it depends on the applications you use,and how organised your are.
I use both and always prefered Mac OS but now I use Windows 7 on the PC I do not take much notice anymore. I think they are booth good now.
I miss DOS and Norton Commander.
Its all preference. I use both daily and I prefer the Windows way of doing things.
I'm a web developer, After a long time using Windows and then Linux - I prefer OS X. It gives the best of both worlds.
What I don't like is the limited choice of expensive hardware. I have a latest generation Mac Mini as I didn't want the glossy screen of the iMac, but it's just too slow and get's noisy at the smallest task.
I'm seriously considering building a hackintosh soon, rather than getting the new mac mini if/when it's launched shortly.
