Far, far too arty if you ask me....and they aren't really high resolution are they, by my definition- lots of pixels by lots of pixels???
Well Hello!
Yer they are mainly closeups, rather than a large overview.
Nicely done (Both the Mac and the photos )

Blimey, I didn't truly realise how massive the heatsink truly was!!! Does anyone know what it is made from? Is it plated copper? That processor must be a toasty little thing.... What are the possibilties for a mobile version if the heatsink required is that big?
Some nice design touches but I do wish apple and the photographer would stop rabbiting on about it being the first 64bit computer... Nice product though,
Pickers
is it really the fastest home pc????
heh, wonder if they sell just the casing alone !?
mmmm, that's gorgeous i want it

What's so special about these PC's anyway? They look cool and they perform well but what's the difference? They have a different OS as well i know. Are they designed for art and design?
I'm suprised no-one in the desktop PC world has tried making distinct compartments for each part before (or at least guiding the air flow a little more). I've just sold off a couple of old HP servers and they basically used the same idea as the new G5. Anyone actually seen and heard one up close? I'm wondering how quite 7 fans can be in a 'tea bag' case - even if they are slow / quiet fans.
Also - on the 'tea bag' case score - how dusty is that going to get inside?
i dunno much about macs even tho i am applying for a job where they use macsOriginally posted by KeZZeR

seems at work where we get all our graphics done they use macs only and the rest of us use pc's
i think macs could be designed specificly for art and design use, cause my missus is doing a hnd in art and she uses one aswell at collage
although i might be wrong
could be because they are easyer to use?
If anyone's interested there's a project log on another UK based geek site b**-t***.net (am I allowed to say that here?) where a guy is in the process of making his own G5 case
