    Tiger and an iBook

I bought a Mac Mini a while ago with Tiger pre installed...

I have an iBook which is exactly the same spec. Could i stick the copy of Tiger i got with my Mini on the iBook? It's not even been opened, i.e. i haven't used the disk, or have i already used the license? I know it's a daft question, but i'm curious...

    Cheers

    Dan.

It would be tied down to the mini mac. If it was a retail version then you could actually install it on more than one machine.

While there's nothing stopping you, it's still only one licence

And, yes, the install disk you have should only install onto a Mac Mini. Same goes for the disks they distribute with iBooks and iMacs/eMacs.
