    Mac MSN help...

so, the wife's iBook has OS 9.1.whatever, but now when attempting to sign in to MSN a message pops up with the instructions to install a new version of messenger. However, the current OS doesn't support the new version, and won't run the old version - what now???

    Cheers in advance

msn 3.51 is the latest version I think and as you say only runs on OS X.

It is equiv of msn 5 on PC I think, ie no avatar pictures etc.

i heard MS is blocking all the other clients like trillian etc. and you have to update to new msn versions to continue using it?
