    Thumbnail in iPhoto

I copied 101 photos from iPhoto onto a CD to take to Jessops to have some prints done. However instead of having 101 items on the CD there were 200+ because of the thumbnails.
How do I avoid this confusion?
    What are thumbnails for?
Can I set it so that thumbnails are not copied onto the CD?

    Thanks

    Lightbulb

If you follow the steps below you should be able to create a picture CD recognised by PC's (That Jessops will probably be using). This should sort out your thumbnails problem!

    1) Use iPhoto's 'Organise' function to select the photo's you want to burn. Choose 'file' menu and choose 'Export'.

    2) Use the 'format' menu in the 'export photos' window to choose a format. Pick .jpg

    3) Click export

    4) Create a folder and dump your pics in there.

    5) These pics will then be exported, takes a bit of time but once its done ...

    6) Whack in a blank CD - select 'open finder', give the disc a nice name and hit 'ok'.

    7) Now this is nice and easy - just drag the folder of photos you exported in the other steps in the blank CD's icon on the desktop.

    8) Once the files are copied click on the 'file' menu and select 'burn disc ...'. Confirm this action and burn away!

    9) Your done!

    Hope this helps mate.

You can juz create a folder and drag the photos you want to print from iPhoto to the folder, then burn the folder on to a CDR!
