    Mac Book Pro Arrived!

Just picked up my macbookpro up, I orginally ordered a 1.67ghz mbp, which got upgraded to the 1.83ghz model, but when I went into my local mac reseller to upgrade the ram on my girlfriends mini. They told me they had finally recieved some MBP's and mainly the 2.0ghz ones. After about 10seconds I changed my order to the 2ghz version

It decided to absolutly chuck it down as I left the store and I was very happy I decided to carry it in the external box as I got soaked by the cars waiting to cross the road!

    Anyway onto the pictures

First impressions are good, it's much easier to see everything than on my old 12in powerbook and its very quick to boot up. I still need to sling in my extra stick of ram but I will do that later.

If you want more pictures I have a whole heap more in my gallery:

    Looks very cool mate, nice.

Bit of an OT question: Where did you get that Olive-coloured carry case thing (I assume it's for the notebook)? Been looking for something similar to that for when I get a notebook soon, and it looks really nice.

    Thanks.

    Erm 7 I think hehe.

2 are my girlfriends (1new , 1 old one going to be sold) , another 2 are prototypes. I've then got a file server and main rig and my laptop.

    Its fast.

Its takes no time to load safari at all , everything else seems quick.

Just managed to crash it tho 3 times in a row trying to delete some thumbs.db files. That said its the most polite blue (well black ) screen I've ever seen. hehe

I will post a pic when I get back home.

It gets damn hot on the base but the fan has only come on once since 9am so thats not surprising hehe.

All revisions have problems infact the rev e powerbooks had more problems than any other rev so I wasn't bothered tbh.
