    Mighty mouse, any opinions ?

    Hi,

Anyone got any opinions on it ? I know it's kinda quirky but how quirky ?

    Throw-it-out-the-widow quirky or ooh-isn't-it-wonderful quirky ?

Also, anyone know the Hexus record for uses of the word "quirky" in a single post ?

    Ta much !

Could be rather useful...I'm sure there have been other threads on this, some slating it, others not, but I can't find them at 3am .
And I think you've trashed any existing quirky record

I had a quick try in my local mac store and the nipple is great but the rest of the buttons aren't particularly the side ones.

There are far better mice out there for less money.

On the bonus side you do get an led that makes a mouse pattern with the mighty mouse

I had a look for other threads but couldn't find much.

I know it's probably not the best mouse but it's a kinda form over function thing.

    Thanks !

I havn't tried it, but it sounds wierd, having to lift both fingers off the mouse in order to make a click would be an arse, and difficult to get used to........
    AND its not wireless

IMO they aren't very good, for just usual browsing they aren't bad - but they are terrible for gaming, as the nipple is very smooth, using it to select weapons in UT2003 is pretty much impossible, and the right click is alot more difficult to get than left click.

I personally just use a MS mouse with the normal mac keyboard (which I like).
