Hey guys. I ordered my 20" iMac on Sunday, and it was apparantly shipped today.
Where are they shipped from? And how long does it usually take for stuff to arrive?
Expect a thread detailing arrival and experiences when it gets here

Last time I ordered something from the Apple store it took 2 days to ship from when the status changed on the website.
I think my iBook took about a week or so to arrive as it was a BTO spec..

I had bad experiences with my intel imac. Was also bto, 1gb ram and 256mb video card. Apparently they come from Ireland. I ordered on a wednesday, and then according to tracking it was delivered on the following Tuesday. Pretty annoying since it wasn't with me.
So after doing some digging around, phoning apple, phoning tnt, they then claimed the imac was attempted to be delivered but nobody was home and that a card was left, (all lies as I didn't get a card.). In the end it arrived on the Friday, so over a week. I hope you aren't honoured with tnt's shananigan of a delivery service, but I really was not too impressed.
TNT are usually good here.. Its City-Link that are buggers. Might be lucky and get it by Friday. Here's hoping.
Also Uchiha, have you got Boot Camp on your iMac? How does the X1600 handle games? Will I be gutted I'm getting rid of my 2 year old x800 AGP?

I have got bootcamp installed, however have not run any games on it as of yet. I only installed to see how my 3d modelling work and rendering compared to my pc box, and it did perform better. But my pc box is only an athlon 64 3200+ (socket 754) and a geforce 4 ti4800se.
Just off the top of my head tho, I can't really see the x1600 beating the x800pro agp. So u may not see any increase in performance, theres only so much the intel duo cores can improve upon.
Hmm, this is a bit weird:
Does that mean I get it today? I've got a carier tracking number as well. Assigned Carrier - FLEX POSTAL & HUB UK (who?)Estimated Delivery Date: 30 May 2006 (Subject to change)
Current Delivery Status: In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule 31 May 2006
edit: Changed Assigned Carrier to 'KUEHNE & NAGEL' and difference tracking number. Date is still 30th for delivery :S
