Lightbulb MBP heat the final solution!

    Hi all!
Calling all users of Macbook pro's! some of you may be familiar with the insane temperatures thrown out by our MBP's. We have all thought of various solutions to this, some crazier than others!

For a while people have been trying to get the fans to co-operate when you need them, originaly by fiddling with script and code, but now ts easy with a gui.

There are a few around now, but this one i find is the best, and its FREE

A MUST for all MBP users!

opinions please! it works like a dream on mine, whorah, now i can touch my computer!

To be honest i felt the same way, but when installed the computer was still remarkably quiet. even on full pelt, 4000rpm the fans cant be heard over some quiet music.
On the slowest setting of 1000rpm they are bloody quiet, but still keep the computer luke warm at about 50deg Core temp. I keep it on lowest setting most of the time.

Nice way to either burn out your fans (by having them on full for a long time)
or to burn out your mac (by turning them down)..

I use this and set it to 2500rpm base rate and my macbook pro is so much cooler now it's unreal, especially above the F$ keys.

Unsure as to people saying it will burn the fans out, after all it's what they're meant to do If they die, it'll be a long time after I've finished with it.
