    Fog Lamps!!!

This has just put the cherry on the top of the cake. We all hate fog lamps... Well i hate them in a NEW way!!!! It's smashed!!! and Renault wont sell me a replacement lens. But they will sell me a drivers side fog lamp kit for £44.77....

I think i'll phone around a few scrap yards

I have a confession to make...

Because my fog lights don't look like fog lights to the casual observer (they are integrated into the main light cluster, with the indicators where you would expect fog lights to be), I have been known to drive with them on. I don't think they're any worse than full on Xenon kits.

    Renaults Price = £44.77.... XTR's price = £0

I'm going to make my own I've removed the fog lamp, and all the broken glass. I'm going to make a Polycarbonate lens We shall see how it turns out in the next few days

Nowt hard about making a perspex cover for a light.... Its all the way down there *points* and hidden in the bumper. So basically.... i cut some perspex out and round the edges on it, Buff it up and get it shining.... then glue gun it to the fog lamp easy!!!!!!!!!!! And polycarbonate isn't going to smash, like glass does....

It'll scratch though. And isn't the existing glass curved? That was my main thought for the "how"

Hot air Paintstripper guns are wonderful for bending polycarbonate. Just don't get it too hot!

I see there is a whole foglight kit on ebay but up to £51 already. Handy if you decide to break the other side.

See ' Renault Megane Front Fog Light Kit '

seen it... i check ebay for megane parts all the time! I'm not planning on breaking the other side though and don't want the stalks or wiring loom.
