Always good to read up on ur engine b4 u buy an induction kit, all the max power generation say fit a 57i to the Xe lumps but all the ppl that actually know about there cars dont cos of the extra heat in the engine bay, if u fit a 57i get some decent cold air feeds from ur front bumper n stuff in there....

....which is a common mod on these motas!! quite a simple job too, running some ally tubing from the 'mouth' at the front to the intake... yeah, and don't expect more than 1-2 bhp, but do expect a much better intake noise

Wouldn't bother with K&N... never been a fan of their gear.

I'd cough up a bit more and get an induction kit which adds more performance (something like a BMC CDA) rather than going for a (IMHO, not Hexus') crappy K&N which will just suck hot air in and lose you ponies.

It'll sound nice but that's about it.

it'll be better than the stock air box/filter panel, and shouldn't lead to a loss in hp: even my home made cone filter makes it sound better, and has certainly increased torque/top end... and with the homemade CAI kit it should go even better...
