I've got my new wheels on my car now. Needs a wash though Took some more pics:

I'd love to do it, but I've already checked the added insurance cost and it's not pretty

I'm not normally a fan of aftermarket non-OEM wheels but I actually think they suit it nicely.. Not stupid diameter or stupidly-low profile tyres And I don't think you should lower it, if not by too much

I'd only lower it a bit, and I want it doing for the handling benefits more than the looks tbh.

Yeah I told them. They said there's no extra charge because the actual wheel size hasn't changed.

Nope, steelies. I was surprised they didn't charge me. Might ring up again to make sure they have been added to the policy.

Other Bravo's in the range come with alloys though.

Took the words out of my mouth

Can lowering actually improve handling safely, without subsequent adjustment of the suspension/camber/toe in etc.? I always thought things like the tyre profile, ride hieght and suspension were all part of the same system regarding handling and that changing one element can quite seriously affect how the car was designed to work.

I always thought to lower it properly you had to buy stiffer shorter springs, which will then help with weight transfer, roll etc
