3Dfx you're right that is the concept of the Golf GTi MK V
However it is my understanding the intention is to keep the black front end. The rest of the car is the same as production although the wheel design may change which would be a shame I think. I had a quick sit in the MK V at the weekend and it's pretty nice, and more of the same!

Thank you for your civilised reply. Yes I've heard the black front end is staying and also the GTI badge on the front (which was missing off the mkIV GTI's ... *except the Anniversary*) ... the wheels "might" have the same design, but I highly doubt they'll be 18" and also I cant see it having those twin exhausts, it seems VW are toning down the GTI's...probably to make em less "hot hatch, boy racer" and more ... fast & comfortable and cheaper on drivers insurances etc.

Theres probably alot to change elsewhere on the car, but I dont know stuff that aint been decided.

Oh and u've sat in one too? nice arent they, my local VW dealership had one in for mechanics to look at etc and my "contact" LOL!!! let me have a sit in it... very nice indeed... it was the FSI GT model ... 150Bhp ... at least i think it was the 150Bhp model .. cos it was well specced. (sp?)
