No it isn't a Lancia.
I think it was first built around the same time as the first Allegro, but definately still in production long after the Allegro stopped being made.
These are a very very rare sight in UK, although I believe that they were some imports - I'm sure I have read a few articles about this car in UK motoring magazines.
The manufacturer s a reasonably well known international brand, I've certainly seen a few of their products on my overseas travels.
quite a few clues now - I'd have thought someone will get this quite quickly now, keep watching so that you can check out the correct answer!

Looks Renaultish, although the rear vents suggest an egine in the boot......
