Ok so I'm told the middle pipe on my mota is Honda only. Unless you go tuning that is.

Need a quick opinion.

From the prices I have so far it's cheaper to get a non-stainless back box (£82exVAT) from a local bunch.
Middle is £160incVAT from Honda and back £152incVAT (with fittings but not fitting).
Tokyo-express.co.uk is £135 middle and £175 for back with 80mm (3" ish) pipe.

If it's just the back whadda you all think? Save the cash or go rude-boy? The pipe is only for show as I'm not changing anything else (or at least it's not planned!). Of course the money saved = graphics card

Any web suggestions for better prices as I can get the thing fitted easily enough?

your insurance might go up if you stick a new fat exhaust on - are you SURE you cant get aftermarket? hondas are quite common - it'd supprise me if kwikfit or humphrys couldnt help

I think we bodge a repair on the centre pipe and get you a new graphics card

Super Sprint do the only 'designed for' stainless system for my car. £174 incVAT back (120x80mm pipe) and £133 inc VAT centre. With gaskets from Honda and lazy bones taking it for fitting as I don't have a ramp it'll be about £360 total. Or about £30 more than the Honda OEM bits fitted.
Going to have a bloody good look at the car today!

I've had a look at the hole and the back box has gone around the flange where the two sections join. Welding is out as the gap is about 0.5" all the way around. Still all in place though as it seems well held on.

I'm going to check if the cheap patent part has a flange or straight tube to connect. If it's a flange I'll probably take it as £100ish fitted is better news before I go on holiday next month!

If not then I'll go stainless I think and have to be very very skint for a while.
