Anybody know which bit was added as an afterthought? the hi-level stop light or the rear window wiper? It's silly - the wiper when it's parked obscures most of the stop light, making it a confusing odd shape in the dark...
see?

Vauxhall have done worse.....check out a Vectra Saloon SRi with high level rear brake light and the optional boot spoilier......with....wait for it...
High level brake light built in.....
so lets get this right....left brake light....right brake light.....high level brake light in rear window......high level brake liight in boot spoiler...
tell ya what though....it damn well worked...
cos when you put your foot on the brake, the current drain for all the bulbs slows the car faster than the 4 disk brakes.....the alternator is under more load at that point than a power station on Christmas Eve

....it's still there and scarily....if you have a light at the back that doesn't work, its an MOT failure
OR so I understand....
if it was REMOVABLE from inside the rear window it would be sensible, but it leaves a funny black area where the screen shading fits around it.
Typical badly thought out old rubbish

rear lights being out aint a problem unless they're some of the legal ones - like 2 brake lights, 2 indicators etc
