Yeh just do that, or get a mate to do it
To err on the side of caution, I'd be looking at replacing a pair rather than just a single side - suspension needs to be as equal as possible.

Life is like Computing, just when you get it all working properly, Bits need replacing
How much do you care about the car? Shoudl get both done really but if it was my old car I wouldnt
did it myself, the man at ford said that i should get both done together, but 3 reasons why i didnt, were changing it after xmas, its only 3 years old and doen less than 20k miles, it was 50 quid for a bit of coil :O
^^^ thats one of the many resons why I will never buy an almost new car..
how long do springs normally last? 3 years just doesn't seem very long..
nor me, we didnt buy it new
i agree though 3 years is a disgrace
