    joshwa wins a cyber cookie

    Its a 1990 Saab 9000s 2.3

The bloke i've bought it from has owned the car all its life, and has spent so much money on it, the servicing has been done religeously, its got 4 nearly new tyres, the interior leather is immaculate scottish hyde, all the electrics work, heated seats and preset positions. The gearbox was rebuilt about 20k ago, at a cost of over £1k, got every single mot and every service reciept. The guys spent nearly 10k on it in 17 years.

Only one drawback, its an auto

It'll do though pics coming soon

    Re: Guess the new car

yeah if i ever get to drive the damned thing :\ waiting for my insurance docs at the moment so i can tax the thing. Apparently theres nothing at all i can do until they come through. Neither the post office or the DVLA local office will accept a fax from the insurance company with the relevant information and the DVLA local office doesn't have access to the DVLAs computer system to be able to see that ive been insured since monday

To top it all off i whilst i was phoning the dvla to enquire about the legitimacy of taxing online and driving whilst waiting for the disc (which you cant) the very rude woman said to me "im terminating this call now, bye" when i asked "what is the point in having a central computerised system when nobody can access it, everybody else has my data on discs somewhere so why don't your own offices".
