Thanks

i heard bsm fob you off - tell ya, your crap when u arent and really ready for your test (so they can get more money?) i didnt learn with a big company like that, i went with a personal recommendation from a friend of my dads and if it hadnt have been for a silly mistake i did (made a car wait....) i would have passed first time!! i dont know, have u tried the AA? i'd say personal recommendations are best. And if you live in Southport, then i will pm u and give ya this guys number cos he is the best.... only u have to live in southport - hes that good he wont travel out of that area cos he doesnt need to :-)

Unfortunately I don't live in southport. Obviously I don't want to get ripped off and I want to pass my test easily.
A friend mentioned the AA, though they charge nearly £30 an hour
I did mine with the aa, and the instructor I had was far far better thanany of the cheap ones I tried before, 21quid an hour but worth it imo.
Mini!!!!!
i pay 17 quid an hour, and my instructer is wicked, hes private tho. he doesnt say "that was crap u nobber", he'll say "ok, do you know what was wrong with it?" then break it down into where i can understand where i went wrong.
Have u got any mates learning to drive or have passed? cos tbh, a personal recommendation is gonna be better then faffing around with instructers.... i just picked my first one out the phone book and it was a baaaaad mistake :-(

yeah just go private thru a reccomendation. normally a touch cheaper, and your guarenteed to get the same guy your mate did (unlike the aa where you could end up with anyone)

BSM were really good for me. They are quite expensive, but if you buy lessons in bulk their prices aren't much more than your private instructor. I passed 1st time, 3 months after my 17th birthday.
where the heck are you lot going for driving lessons. £17 - £30 for an hour you are being ripped off guys. I paid £8 an hour for mine from a local Driving instructor. Forget the big companies go for the independant ones as they are a lot cheaper
