    Re: central locking

    new one for me, that.

So you put your elbowe on the button when it's running, and the car locks all round?? But if you get out and turn the key, it doesn't work?

Has someone fiddled with the live to the central locking to fit an alarm?

If it's working whilst the engine is on, but not when it's off, you have to consider the battery could be on the way out.

    Re: central locking

dont know.. it takes a lot more power to turn the starter than a few central locking solinoids...

Check the connections between battery, chassis and engine block. Sounds like the engine has a good ground, but the chassis does not. Also check each door. Use a multimeter to do this on the lowest resistance scale.

    Re: central locking

ahh....hold on.....I'm feeling Peugeot experience coming back

With the door open, look for the connector where the hinges are...see if the big plastic plug is screwed in to make all the contact work. Wiggle it and take it off, put it back on.

306 door wiring.....a lot needed replacing
