In a few months im going to buy some 17" wheels..... I cant afford them yet but my 15" tyres are REALLY low... I've decided I need to buy some tyres.
I've been to kiwkfit this morning and the cheapest they do is Pirella P6000's. £73 ish. RIP OFF!!
I've been to national tyres... the cheapest they do is Firestones. £60 ish. RIP OFF. i want £30 tyres.. cheap rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbish to keep me legal while i save up for my 17" rims.
I went to Tyre Spot. £38.78 each for Hankook tyres. Not too bad i suppose but i noticed on their computer screens it was flashing £24. I guess this is the price they buy them in at.
I then went to Freeway tyres. Bloke wasnt very helpful... We've got 2 tyres. A firestone and a goodyear? How much? Between £30 and £40 each. I dont really want odd tyres though as i'm gonna buy another 2 tyres in a few weeks for the front wheels.. Then ill have 4 spare wheels with decent tread on when i buy my new wheels.
So i had a look on www.mytyres.co.uk

The cheapest hankook's are £37.10 inc delivery. Then you have to arrange for them to be fitted.
I can buy some unbranded crap for £31 inc delivery....
What should i do then? Go and pay £38.78 for 2 hankook tyres from Tyrespot? or get the budget £31 crap online? or look at getting some part worn ones?
They are only to get me over for the next couple of months until I can afford my 17" wheels and tyres (£829).
