Le Toure 2004 is nearly here and I for one can't wait.

Various groups of cars from the RSC, covered in vinyl RSC "Le toure" garb will gradually meet up along the M5 on the 21st, making our way down to our final destination, Newquay. Once we get there we get into a hotel for the 3 S's then hit the town for a good night out. Then, the next morning we get up and do the same again all the way back.

Last year was a great laugh, and we had 24 cars in the final convoy. When we got into Newquay it was amazing to see so many modded Renaults driving around - Newquay isn't that big and many of the roads are one way, single width.. so to see us lot arrive turned many heads. (Including the coppers, oops).

As soon as I get my new Clio and start the work on it I should be attending the Renault Sports Club events up North again Been a while since I went to a RSC meet.

Just went to pick up the stickers 50x 11" Le Toure stickers, 50x tax disc sized jobbies and 2 HUGE bonnet ones, one of which will be going on my bonnet. Check the size of these out It's that big it comes in 2 parts!

Btw, i think there may be a lot of jobs for people with big hands now:

Saw quite a lot of photographs for mp3 players with people demonstrating the size of it relative to their hands/fingers. I can picture a job ad:

"Needed a person with big hands for "proof of size" photos".

Also, a company that makes enormous novelty glue sticks may go into a lot of money (they are also used for comparisons)

Car's nearly ready now. Just had new shoes, cylinders, new gearbox oil (car is now 100% Motul fluids!), tappets reset, oil, plugs, filters.. the lot. It's running blummin near perfect. Yesterday I gave it a good polishing ready for the vinyl though it rained today so I'll have to do it again.

Just the inside to clean up then then she's good to go.
