WHICH one?

Looking possibly towards purchasing a Sat Nav with Speed Camera Detector.
This would be the type that has an actual detector rather than simply the locations of fixed cameras programmed in.

Has any one any experience and/or recommendation as to the BEST one available PLEASE!

Detectors aren't worth it TBH. Most cams that can be detected are static and the GPS can already "detect" them more reliably anyway. Mobile cams are often laser which can't be detected reliably.

Also, if you've detected the laser, you've most likely just detected one out of two pulses that determines your speed. If it happens to be the first one, you've got about 1/3rd of a second to slow down enough to bring your average speed under the limit.
