Cost of motoring 18% less than 20 years ago

The cost of motoring has fallen by 18% in real terms over the past 20 years, despite the price of fuel rising by 210% in that time, an RAC report says
But 60% of the public surveyed thought it was higher

It also mentions road rage is a growing problem.

Of course - if you drive less than average the costs are probably even lower, if you drive more, you'll spend more, eventually maybe even reaching the point where costs are the same or even higher.
