We don't know yet why it's back again this week, but they are also testing the Tesla and there may be a feature involving both cars (e.g. how many power laps before the car runs out of fuel/electricity). Or it could be Jezzas wife wants to take on the Stigs time. All we know is...

Unfortunately it was wet on the day the car was at Dunsfold so there won't be any improvements to last weeks lap time, which although was definitely quick, is just a base line really. If they are able to run the car again in the summer when the tyres can warm up properly, it ought to top the times

If/when the Atom 500 is made, I really want to see that go round the TG track, I would predict that it would beat everything else on the board hands down.

BUT

And it's a BIG but

500hp in a package that light is all well and good but as demonstrated last week in the power lap of the R500, even applying just 260hp is a challenge. It will be fearsomely rapid in a straight line once it's already up to 60-70-80mph, but below that, the power will be causing more problems than anything else. Even the Caterham Levante struggles (also around 1000hp/tn) and that's comparatively lardy!

It will be interesting to see, if it makes production.
