Cheers for the links stoo - though I'm really after a 750 for about £1500

I'll need the whole care as there is so much BMW gubbins that'll need to be moved over.

    Re: Got a Hankerin'

Exactly how much engine bay will you need to cutaway to make it fit?

Maybe chop in the front of a CL600 to solve it

    Too good to break eh?

I'd love to see the build photos of the conversion - I'd never have the guts to do something like this!

If anyone fancies a top gear style 3 piece suite - the interior will be up for grabs

my housemate assures me it will be fairly straight forward - the things I think will be interesting will be the electrics , and the drive by wire throttles.

    Re: Got a Hankerin'

Ah, are you going to run two looms?

The remains of the sx loom and the engine part of the 750?

(I'll admit I'm an utter newb when it comes to car electronics, so please excuse any dumb comments )

    Re: Got a Hankerin'

Shame really, aside from it being green and having a horrible steering wheel, it does seem a bit too nice to break.

Are you just going to use the BMW autobox? Or maybe try and find an 850CSi manual one?
