    Smile Friends Project...

    Some pictures of my m8s MK Indy, powered by a Kawasaki ZX-9 engine. Sorry the pics are a bit pants, my digicam ain't that great...anyway, its not far off finished, the SVA test should be coming up soon...had a few dramas due to the first engine fitted being knackered and then one of the coils with the second engine being dodgy, but let me tell you, it runs quite well now...

    Lowe, its now got the 'quiet' end can on m8 (road legal, note the cat in front of the silencer), needless to say its still a bit fruity but it was worse with the race can on...


    Raz, the single biggest outlay was for the chassis kit, that came with all the bodywork, wishbones, steering rack, hubs and loads of other bits and bobs...cost him about £11/1200 i think. The first engine cost £800, that went back and he found another for £750...the seats were a bit pricey as he bought proper Westfield ones so they cost around £300-odd with the runners...

    300 odd ?? i woulda got some sparco's for that personally, altho they do look nice.

    Sparcos would never fit m8...i don't think they do anything thin enough...
